Head Coach
Coach Danny, husband, father, and founder of the Valley Waves in 2020, has been a dedicated coach and mentor for over a decade. Growing up playing baseball, he made the switch and found a major passion for softball after his first daughter was born and has since coached her and her All-Star teams for more than 10 years. Now a proud father of three daughters—all softball players—Coach Danny is involved at every level of their play. Known for his love of strategy and his commitment to helping players reach their highest potential, he has also served as a mentor to countless young female athletes. His passion for the game and the growth of his players led the Valley Waves all the way to the PGF Championship in 2025, a true testament to his dedication and leadership.

Assistant Coach
Coach George grew up playing baseball all the way to college before discovering his true passion for coaching when his twin daughters began playing softball. For years, he has given countless lessons free of charge in his own batting cage, always eager to help young athletes improve. A dedicated member of the Valley Waves, Coach George has committed himself to multiple teams, consistently offering extra coaching support whenever needed. Known as a coaching anchor for the organization, his dedication, generosity, and love for the game have made him a beloved figure to players, families, and fellow coaches alike.

Mentor/Coach/Advisor
Janelle Lindvall brings elite-level expertise and passion to her work with Valley Waves teams. A former University of Oregon catcher, Janelle earned her Psychology degree while achieving remarkable success on the field: 4x PAC-12 Champion, 2x Women's College World Series participant, 3x Scholar Athlete, and holder of Oregon's home run and RBI records. Her decorated career extends to the international stage as a 2015 Team USA member, World Cup Gold Medalist, Pan American Games Silver Medalist, and 2016 National Pro League player. Janelle's training sessions with Valley Waves focus on hitting mechanics, catching fundamentals, mental approach, and game situation training—combining her athletic accomplishments with her psychology background to help players refine technique, build confidence, and develop the advanced skills needed for competitive success.
