Valley Waves Fastpitch was founded in 2020 by Danny Platt during a time when the world stood still, but his vision for developing elite female softball players never wavered. Born from the valleys of Southern California, what started as one team with a clear mission has grown into something special.

Danny brought over a decade of coaching experience and a deep understanding of what young female athletes need to thrive. He saw an opportunity to create more than just another travel softball organization—a place where girls could find their people, push their limits, and develop the kind of character that extends far beyond the diamond.

In 2024, Valley Waves expanded, bringing three additional teams into the fold. This growth wasn't just about numbers; it was about creating a larger community where athletes at different stages could learn from each other, support one another, and share in the pursuit of excellence.

From our roots in the valleys, we've built an organization where girls dedicate themselves to excellence both on and off the field. Here, athletes forge unbreakable bonds while becoming the kind of women who make a difference. Every player who wears the Valley Waves uniform becomes part of a legacy of integrity, commitment, and unstoppable determination.

Today, six teams proudly represent the Valley Waves, continuing to be guided by the same principles that started it all: developing not just better players, but better people.
