Head Coach

Lauren Doop brings a lifelong passion for softball and a wealth of experience to Valley Waves Doop 10U Team. A former standout catcher, Lauren played competitive travel softball from 12U through 18U with So Cal Stealth, where her team consistently placed in the top five at Nationals and even clinched a national title. Her dedication and skill earned her a softball scholarship to UC Santa Barbara.

Lauren has been deeply involved in youth softball for many years, serving as President and Board Member of West Valley Girls Softball. She managed her oldest daughter’s all-star teams from 8U to 12U, leading them to three National qualifications. As a proud mom of three daughters who all share her love for the game, Lauren is committed to fostering strong fundamentals, teamwork, and confidence in young female athletes.

Having played her entire travel ball career alongside other Valley Waves Coaches (Courtney Galdos, Kelly Kazdoba, and Cara Viramontes), Lauren understands the value of long-term bonds and softball sisterhood. She’s excited to help build something special with the Valley Waves and looks forward to guiding this new generation of players both on and off the field.
